About Me

Carla Hyde: Fort Myers, Florida, United States; Born and raised in Indiana. Went to I.U. where I studied Therapeutic Recreation and where I first fell in love with yoga. I've done a lot of traveling both in and out of the country which has been a major part of my education (and many adventures!) During and after college I learned flying trapeze and circus arts which led to a career in performance with several different circuses (and many more adventures!) I eventually landed in Ft. Myers, Florida where I started a cirque troupe called, Aerodynamix. I have a loving husband, Steve, and a fabulous career in fitness, personal training, recreation and yoga. I have had the good fortune to study with some amazing teachers in both Buddhism and yoga and I find the two blend harmoniously. I have studied several styles of yoga but have come to love and appreciate Iyengar Yoga style the most.
